Miller's World - Glades Haven

Mysterious and beautiful, the Everglades make up the majority of South Florida. Extending from Lake Okeechobee to the Keys, consisting of swamps, towering forest and endless sawgrass, the Glades are home to countless animals. The centre of Everglades City is nearby and Naples is about a half-hour drive away. The resort offers one-of-a-kind hotel accommodation units. There are 23 rooms in total at this guesthouse. Facilities include air conditioning, a bar, restaurant and bicycle hire service. The guest rooms feature a small fridge, microwave, cable television, individual climate control and a private en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Further in-room amenities include a double bed, kitchen, cooker, and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a full service marina with bait and tackle as well as kayak, canoe and power boat rentals. Guided tours and fishing guides are also available. Guests can take a refreshing dip in the outdoor heated swimming pool. Paddle tennis and biking are also available for a fee. Fresh seafood is offered in the restaurant. From I-75 North, take exit 80 for FL-29 South and turn left onto FL-29 South. Continue on County Road 29 for 3. 2 miles, and then turn right onto Begonia Street, which turns slightly left and becomes Copeland Avenue. Turn left and end at the hotel.
